Arphendir and Ithillion

These are Arphendir and his son Ithillion, northmen that had their settlement attacked by orcs and had to flee to Forlindon when Ithillion was still young. Arphendir had his wife killed and brought Ithillion and his sister Ellethant up with the help of Idhrenel of Lórien and Bothvir of the Iron Halls.

Arphendir is of noble blood and noble character, something the Elves noticed from the start. Apart from that, he is a born leader and a very effective commander and soldier. While living in Lindon, Arphendir took on security and political business and the elves regarded him with great esteem. He has at least six titles from his brave deeds.

Ithillion took up a lot of influence from his elvish surroundings and became an extraordinary hunter, talented with the bow and deadly with the blade. Much of an explorer, though, Ithillion spends most of his time scouting and exploring along with Idhrenel and Bothvir, his childhood friends.
